One touch of nature makes the whole world kin.  William Shakespeare

The Closter Nature Center is a natural gem in the heart of suburban New Jersey. Managed by an all-volunteer Board of Trustees, the 136-acres of forested wetlands benefits both residents and wild creatures in our local community.

Incorporated in 1962, the purpose of its founding members is as relevant today as it was then:

* Conservation * Education* Recreation*
