CNC Lecture + Hike: Our Forest in Crisis (Part 2)

Forest Ecology Lecture and Hike

“Our Forest in Crisis” a Two-Day Program

Lecture: Thursday, March 23rd, 7 PM

Hike: Sunday, March 26th, 2 PM

This two-part program with Naturalist Marc Gussen, will expose participants to the many pressures our forest faces, and a course of action for protecting the woods we love. Deer overpopulation, the sudden loss of our beech and ash trees, the rise of many non-native invasive species and global climate change, have combined to create a "perfect ecological storm".

Part One: Lecture: Come learn where we are, where we are headed and what we can do to preserve this precious resource.

Admission: $10 for Members/ $15 for Non-Members

Part Two: Forest Ecology Hike:  Sunday, March 26th at 2:00 PM

Admission: Donations happily accepted!
