Wild Woods Restoration Native Planting

We’re excited to welcome the Wild Woods Restoration Project to Closter Nature Center for a hands-on forest restoration event. Experts from Wild Woods will lead the program, guiding volunteers in planting young native plants grown from locally collected seeds.

The planting site is about a quarter mile along the trail, with a short walk over boardwalks across the wetland. Small plants and lightweight tools will make this an accessible and rewarding experience for participants.

Everyone is welcome, and no prior experience is necessary. Tools will be provided. Participation is limited to 10 people, and advance registration is required.
